Easy Yogurt Parfait Recipe – A Healthy Breakfast or Snack

This recipe is more about putting things together than any actual cooking, which makes it one of my go-to weekday breakfasts. The secret is a delicious homemade granola that you make ahead (or your favorite brand from the store), seasonal fruit, and your favorite whole milk yogurt. Add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup on top for a little extra sweetness. Finish with a sprinkle of sea salt (don’t knock it til you try it! Just a little salt creates a perfectly balanced flavor).

This is the kind of breakfast that will keep kids and adults satisfied until lunch so you can focus on work or school and not have constant thoughts about the post-breakfast snack that will carry you through until lunch. It’s sweet, creamy, crunchy, and the use of seasonal fruits keeps it from getting old. Try kiwi and pomegranate in the winter, and mangoes and pineapples in the summer.
