Latino-Style Garlic & Herb Bread Recipe

It’s soup season and the perfect accompaniment to soup, in my humble opinion, is bread. I never turn down a classic garlic bread with parmesan or mozzarella cheese melted on top, but this recipe is for when you want something to go with sopa de lentejas, a big pot of beans, or anything else with more traditional latino flavors.

My mom would make a version of this on special occasions, think birthdays and anniversaries. She usually served it with sopa de fideos, and the combination is incredibly nostalgic to this day.

The spicy, bright, salty flavor profile makes this bread more than just a side, it’s the star of any meal you pair it with. You can serve it to friends and family, or add some chicken or beans and make it a sandwich all for yourself.

This is the take on garlic bread you didn’t know you needed. Give it a try and see for yourself! You might even discover a new tradition for special occasions in your family.
