Ingredients

Broccoli

  • 2 heads broccoli, cut into florets 
     
  • 2 tbsp olive oil 
     
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste 

Lemon Breadcrumbs

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko or fresh) 
     
  • 1 tbsp olive oil 
     
  • Zest of 1 lemon 
     
  • 1 small garlic clove, finely minced 
     
  • Pinch of salt

To Finish

  • ¼ cup finely grated Parmesan 
     
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes 
     
  • Optional: squeeze of lemon juice

Steps

Roast the Broccoli

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Toss broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Roast 20–25 minutes, flipping once, until tender with crisp edges.

Make the Lemon Breadcrumbs

Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat.

Add breadcrumbs and garlic; cook, stirring, until golden and crisp (3–4 minutes).

Remove from heat and stir in lemon zest and salt.

Finish and Serve

Transfer roasted broccoli to a serving dish.
